Black on Black, But Violence PERIOD: Where is the outcry?

*This BLOG is dedicated to ALL whom have lost someone due to senseless acts of violence...and ESP to my HOMETOWN of MARION, AL...where acts of SENSELESSNESS have taken place.

    Death is apart of LIFE. We live to DIE. Because in the end after living our fulfilled life that GOD has set forth for us, we are to meet him for eternal living. Ironically, to die a natural death one is more pleased...But as the days go, we aren't being informed of "natural deaths." We are being called and told of these Black on Black murders. And when the reasons behind them are revealed, we are even more sickened!

At the end of 2012, in Birmingham... CBS 42 reported that a total of 67 people had lost their lives..from murders. Many of them unsolved. In my hometown (Population under 3,625?(according to www.google.com/publicdata *July 2011 census) There was a crime incident that resulted in two deaths...and even with the information given... NO ONE in CUSTODY! ALL across the world, acts of crime being carried out. Husband doesn't want to let his wife divorce him and move on... HE breaks in home and stabs her then sets afire (pic below-she dies).  Another ex-husband, refuses to share custody, upon picking his son up, he throws gas on his ex-wife and lights her afire (she survives)!

Where is the outcry? Me personally thinks there is no outcry to stop such things from happening because it hasn't happened directly to YOU! See things have to happen to a lot of us, for us to do something. THEN it is personal and we seek change. But these things we once only saw on tv are now happening in OUR backyards, and now we must SPEAK! My hometown has been healing, but they are speaking and the cry is being heard. But we can't speak, then when it happens down the road, and we turn our heads. We can't close our eyes to these women being beaten; and these young men being killed as if its not our brother or sister.

And this "DON'T SNITCH" idea is funny! It's funny, because it is a two way street! You don't snitch in certain areas, you good. You snitch on certain things, you bad!' and this is the very rule gettin a lot of our boys buried instead of actually growing into young men who are responsible.

Guess it also reflects back to the HOUSE nigga/FIELD nigga mentality... We gone go along with wrongness and foolishness until our RACE IS DEAD.

Being young is suppose to be a fun filled time, where you find your place in society and live it out. and yes, I understand that some of us had and have to grow up in SURVIVAL mode. But even being in SURVIVAL MODE... LIFE should be considered in all of our actions. Everything that "WE" do should be in restrospect of how we are going to answer for it. EVERYTHING! yeah, I understand the HUSTLE MODE...Some of the inspirations I am inspired by come from some of the GREATEST HUSTLERS (SMALL and BIG time) Oprah, dirt poor/sexually abused; T.I, fomer street hustler, turned mogul; NeNe Leakes; former stripper, turned reality star, turned tv personality; my Cousin Demetris (put herself through college-raising 2 girls (now married, with both girls in college on DEAN and PRESIDENTIAL LISTS-and will have her PH.D this year), My aunt Debra. who at 49 (married, but had raised her kids, went back to school and got her degree)... I am just saying...you can make mistakes, but find a way to get back on track....FIND a HERO... stop looking at the superfical crap and idolizing  this COONERY as the only way of life.

IT shouldn't take crime to take over your community for US to try and get it right... The first step to taking back control is parenting. Get yourself in the place to raise great kids. Beat there ASS! Yes, buy them what they need and some of what they want. But be a parent: educate and discipline there ASS...and when they show you they are capable of behaving in life manner...then reward them... And there is nothing wrong with asking for help or seeking help if your methods aren't working.

We have to work together as ONE to save OUR kids...that is the start to saving US...and stopping this BLACK or BLACK VIOLENCE...
